A special session with Essa Bokarr Sy. Theme: Justice, Security, Knowledge, Discipline, Awareness, Tolerance, Production and Patriotism are the runways our feelings, thinking, aspirations, desires, goals should be taking off from every day and every night.
We are compelled by necessity as citizens of a land that is so thirsty for organisational skills and organisational discipline to reflect and revisit the past, understand the present then project into the future. It is obvious that our psyche is left to flap its wings in lost illusions.
We must encourage a national dialogue or a national consultative approach within preventive diplomacy then head towards a convincing rendezvous with destiny. We must collectively come together to shield our nation against the forces of chaos.
Faith and fate may sound similar but definitely not the same. What faith contains should be what filters contents of the character and heart to reveal who we are to society before testimonies are used to judge or sanction.
Fate however is that rendezvous with destiny where what one expects may not always be where one's aspirations would be ultimately lodged. Therefore the best and most dependable guarantee is honesty.
As long as justice is guided by honesty injustice will not thrive. The contrary will then be where knowledge, discipline and honesty would remain captives of what is subjective and dishonest in us.
Where has society found itself today? Reflect on this question!
Our activities be they speeches and deeds are the first and last place to search for answers. Which would then serve us a mirror to reveal who we really are!
Be your own judges because you know the contents of your hearts and characters more than anyone else does!
