G Muha: I feel as a patriotic Gambian, I have a role to play , though am young but I still saw things going wrong in society that I can correct due to my age, and I thing in music, I could freely express myself relating to societal issues: Poor people, women, children are all suffering. Yeah I love music really.
Sunurew: How do you see the music industry in the Gambia, is it favourable to you?
G Muha: Ehm Very hectic and difficult in a sense that, we upcoming artists who think that they have a role to play in the business really lack a lot of support from industry players: DJs, producers and promoters simply we are not giving the chance, so I think giving equal representation will greatly help definitely. People should notice our talents and give us a helping hand.
Sunurew: So DJs are not promoting your music fairly?
G Muha: Not only me but, if you look at the radio DJs, most of the tunes that they play are merely those who did not want promotions but there financial needs, or they are people whom they know, so looking at those whose lyrics are worthy is important I believe.
