In an interview with Sunurew Online, Musa Dabor CEO of Bru's Star Movie Production said Tribalism is on the increase in The Gambia and needed urgent address in which the movie industry could play a part. He noted that their movie will directly tell people the dangers surrounding Tribalism.
He want to see the Gambia movie industry to an other level which can be used to transformed the ancient believed that people used to live in and didn't have any meaningful benefit.
He called on the Movie industry to redouble their efforts in winning the hearts of Gambians by producing movies that directly reflect their conditions and living while expressing his willingness to work with his team to take the movie industry in the Gambia to a high level,
Mr. Dabor solicit support to all and sundry to support their own Gambian movie so as to increase the confidence and ownership of what is been produced.
Dilating on the difficulties encountered while acting, Ebrima .A. Conteh Director of Bru's Star Movie Production said acting is not a easy work but his team despite being new in the system are trying all the best to see the Gambia movie industry to a high level and therefore they are here for the people and to make sure they Entertain, Educate and inform the community.
Conteh explained that it is time for all Gambians to join hands and eradicate Tribalism in our home land.
Expressing the delight as actors, Lamin Demba said he also go true a lot before seeing himself in to this acting field but equally glad seeing lot of young people joining the Gambia movie industry. He urge Media Companies especially TVs to contribute in making popularity of the Gambian movies.
Sanuci Camara another actor also speak on the occasion said acting it is something he Love's doing and will continued to do all he can to see himself through.
Mr. Camara said he's advising every husband out there to fair and know how to treat there wife's equal And let women also know that there is nothing wrong with having a co wife,in his conclusion .
